FFF Submission Process

Submission Process

To begin, you will need to get your video submission in our hands in one of two ways:

  1. Via our sponsor's Peer-to-Peer file sharing program SpinXpress. To download SpinXpress, follow THIS LINK, then click the button at the top right that says "Download Now." You will be prompted to create a login for SpinXpress, after which you will be able to download and run the application.

After you have installed the application, go
HERE, and send a request to join the group. Joining the group will enable you to upload your entry to the Fest.

    NOTE
: keep SpinXpress open until the Fall Film Fest group shows up in your groups. You're then ready to upload your submissions using the SpinXpress application.

  2. Alternatively, you may upload your video entry by using this anonymous SpinXpress uploader.

Be sure to include valid contact information with your entry; you can't win if we can't find you.

Don't forget to assign a license to your entry; support the Creative Commons.

Submissions are limited to five minutes in length. Your first submission is free, but in order to discourage "flooders", each submission beyond the first requires a $25 processing fee.

  • Checks payable to Williamsburg Concierge, LLC | 243 Grand St. | Brooklyn, NY 11211
  • PayPal to fallfilmfest@gmail.com

Entrants must live, love, and/or work in NYC (proof must be presented prior to the grant of any award).

Films have a maximum length limit of 5 minutes (there is no minimum length), and must have been completed on or after October of 2006. By submitting videos, entrants warrant they own copyright to the entirety of entered work(s) and grant Williamsburg Concierge LLC a non-exclusive license to use the work(s) on FFF and WBurg.TV websites and screens.

If you want to be more deeply involved with the Fest, here are some ways and means:

  • Participate in Film Fest Planning via SpinXpress Wiki. Click the 'wiki' tab within SpinXpress.

All entries must be received NO LATER than September 15, 2007
